At Halfords, we know that nothing beats a bike for Christmas, a birthday, or for no reason at all!

Whether it’s their first wheels or their new ‘big’ bike, we’re here to make sure the journey from choosing the right bike to wrapping it up is as easy as possible.

Here are a few reasons why you should shop with us.

Free storage

Kids’ bikes make great presents, but there is one problem: they’re difficult to hide! If you don’t have a handy shed, garage or relative’s house to keep them hidden before the big day, don’t worry. If you buy a kids’ bike from us, we can keep it for you until you need it for free!

Just get in touch with your local store when you buy and tell them when you’d like to collect your bike. We’ll keep it packaged up and protected, then build it up ready for you to collect at the time you’ve chosen.

Places are on a first come, first served basis, but we’ll do our best to fit you in as close to your chosen date as possible. Want to make things even easier? Pick up a giant gift bag to save having to wrap up your bike, too!

Free bike build

When you buy a bike from Halfords, we’ll build it for you for free! This means no scratching your head about having to put together a bike from a box and no worrying about whether the bike has been assembled safely when you give it to your child.

It’s easy! Just choose to have your bike built at the checkout online, or get in touch with your local store – it’s that easy!

Free 6 week check

Just because you’ve bought your bike from Halfords and taken it home, that doesn’t mean you’re on your own! Our kids’ bikes include a free 6-week check. We’ll give the whole thing a once over, making sure that everything is still working and safe to use.

So there you have it – three free things that you can get when you choose a kid’s bike from Halfords! To take a look at our great new range of kids’ bikes, head over to our site. For some great gift ideas, why not check out our gifts page?

  1. Hi Conrad,

Unfortunately, we can’t confirm whether the Wazoo will be making a return. Keep an eye on the website to be the first to know if they come back!

  2. We hear a rumour that there is a container of Wazoos somewhere en-route to the UK.
    Can this be confirmed….?
There’s no mention of it on the web site..yet?
