When Bradley Wiggins launched his brilliant range of kids’ bikes last month, he didn’t miss out on a chance to visit Manchester store to greet the lucky first owners of one of the new range.
Bradley met future cyclists Lewis McEvoy (aged 7) and Sarah Cuncarr (aged 10) whilst he was visiting his new range on launch day.
Sarah and Lewis were over the moon meeting the cycling champ! They got a chance to speak to him, take photos, and he was even kind enough to sign our poster for us.
Bradley was really keen to create a range of bikes for kids – after all, they’re our cycling future! Inspired by Chris Boardman himself as a child, Wiggins hopes to return the favour and get a new generation out on two wheels. Who knows? A future Tour de France champion could say they started on a Wiggins bike.
The range covers every bike a child needs – from balance bikes for wobbly tots, all the way up to road bikes for teenage speed demons. Each model is named after a place that was part of Bradley’s TDF win in 2012, and they’re built to make cycling as easy and fun as possible.
