Are you starting to plan some fun activities for the kids during the school holidays? Well this October we’re running more of our fun free kids’ bike workshops – just in time for half term! We’ll help show your kids how to look after their bikes and be safe on the road, as well as having some fun. Read on for the top reasons why your child would love to take part – and see how you and your kids can join in for free!
- They’re free!
Come on, we all love a freebie! All you have to do to join in the fun at one of our kids’ workshops is sign up here before 26th October, and bring your kids to a Halfords store – so put your wallet away!
- They’re useful!
These workshops are designed to help your kids be safe on the road or path and look after their bikes. As well as having some fun, they can leave with some skills that will mean their bikes will last longer, and you won’t have to worry as much while they’re out seeking adventure.
- You can keep your kids occupied over half term
Tired of listening to cries of ‘I’m booooored!’ over the holidays? As well as being a fun, practical activity for them to do over half term, these workshops can help spark your kids’ enjoyment of cycling, and encourage them to head out on their bikes afterwards!
- They’re fun!
Don’t worry – our workshops aren’t a lecture or a school lesson. We want the kids to get involved and learn how to fix their bikes by doing it, so the workshops are really interactive and hands-on. There are also loads of fun activities for them, too!
When are the free October kids bike workshops taking place?
Our kids’ bike workshops take place during half term, on the following dates:
- Wednesday 19th October in Scotland
- Wednesday 26th October in England and Wales
- Monday 31st October in Northern Ireland
- Wednesday 2nd November in Republic of Ireland
