With the summer holidays nearly upon us, mums, dads, uncles, aunts and grandparents will be starting to look at getting the kids into the car and setting off for a well-deserved break. Keeping the kiddies entertained on long car journeys is one task in itself, but what about keeping them safe while on the road?
This week is Child Safety Week, and we’re joining in by offering free car seat checks for everyone in store, regardless of the age, model, make or where it was the car seat was originally purchased.
Every year, the Child Accident Prevention Trust runs their awareness campaign, Child Safety Week, to highlight the risks children can face. Obviously, this includes times when kids are passengers in vehicles. They’ve got loads of great advice for keeping kids safe.
There are plenty of simple checks that you can do yourself to make sure that your car seat is correctly fitted, set up and doing its job. If you get your car seat fitted with us, we’ll make sure you know how to correctly fit the seat and how to check it’s safe, so you know you’re doing it right!
